A corrupt councillor is strangled in a closed office on a Friday evening. Three days later, a property developer is found dead in his locked apartment. At both scenes, a small clay figurine with no face and outstretched arms. Prague knows what it is. The Golem has returned.

Someone decided Prague needed a protector. Someone who knows how to disappear into a city of a thousand courtyards and unwatched bridges.

Four people had reason to want both men dead. All four are hiding something. One of them has an alibi that looks perfect - until it doesn't.
